Budget Inn Of Winter Haven

The Budget Inn in Winter Haven has its charms. The manager at the front desk is super nice. My room had a mini fridge, a nice perk for storing snacks. Being close to a beautiful lake let me enjoy evening walks by the water, a highlight. The room wasn't without its issues. The walls felt thin, allowing noise from outside to come in, especially from partying guests at night. I also noticed a lingering musty smell, which wasn't pleasant, and some mildew stains on the pillowcases. There's a lack of basic amenities, like a hair dryer or hand soap, which can be inconvenient. Parking has its concerns too, with some unsavory characters hanging around the lot.

The hotel with exceptionally clean and cheap rooms, in a safe area, on the Gulf Coast. The location was favourable and perfect, staff was friendly.

The walls are paper thin!!! The surroundings are uninviting, with an unsightly atmosphere and a lack of basic amenities such as hand soap and shampoo!!!

Super close to the lake for walks and enjoyed the cable programming in the room. We visited Cypresswood Golf and Country Club, and it was really fun. Staff was friendly, and check-in was smooth. Would recommend for a group getaway.

Decent for a quick stay

So, I stayed for 2 nights in a standard double room. The front desk guy was super friendly, a nice way to start. The room was okay, but I noticed some smoke smell lingering. Not much in the dining area, but they had free coffee which hit the spot.
